LFT-8 Woofer Update

The LFT-8 Woofer Update transforms any earlier LFT-8 into the current LFT-8c by replacing the original monopole woofer with a powered gradient-dipole system featuring dual low-frequency sources, DSP control, and an updated crossover. This new enclosure delivers smoother, tighter bass by directing low-frequency energy toward the listener while minimizing floor, ceiling, and side-wall radiation, dramatically reducing room modes. TRW-17 Thigpen Rotary woofer

The Thigpen Rotary Woofer is the world’s first true infrasonic home-audio and home-theater loudspeaker, using a motor-driven set of rotating blades whose pitch is modulated by a voice‑coil to generate powerful low-frequency pressure waves with far greater efficiency than conventional cone woofers.
