ET-2.5 Large Diameter Air bearing Upgrade.

With Eminent Technologys commitment to continue supporting the Model One and Model Two Tonearms, the 2.5 update for the ET-2 is available. This update in combination with a Magnesium or Carbon Fiber Arm wand converts any previous ET-2 to a 2.5 version tonearm. Installation requires removal of the original manifold and air bearing spindle. This can done in the field by the owner.

The update includes the air bearing manifold and spindle and a new spindle wiring harness.

The recommended air pump for use with the 2.5 update is the WISA model 300 with a surge tank. We can also build the updated manifold and spindle for use with the Alita AL-15 air pump or with shop compressors. Please specify what air source will be used for the 2.5 upgrade. Note that a air bearing built to operate with the WISA 300 will not work with the original Takatsuki air pump.

Price $1900.00 each for the upgrade parts which includes shipping. A $100.00 credit is offered for return of the original spindle and manifold. If the tonearm is returned to Eminent Technology for the update, the credit ($100) for the original manifold and spindle will offset the installation charge which is also $100.00.
